What is Five Element acupuncture?

The Five Elements theory is a foundational concept rooted in ancient Chinese philosophy. It refers to Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. Their interrelationships are believed to influence both the natural world and human health.

This theory is used to restore balance within the body. Needles and moxibustion are applied to specific meridians based on the patient's symptoms and condition, thereby stimulating the body's natural healing abilities. This approach addresses not only physical concerns but also promotes mental stability and inner harmony.

When the harmony among these elements is disrupted, various symptoms may arise. Through acupuncture and moxibustion, the flow of energy (Qi) can be adjusted, restoring the balance of the Five Elements and re-establish their functions in harmony.
